In this session, participants will learn how to search the CHS Library catalogue (LibrarySearch) located at the top of our Home page.  This allows you to see the print and electronic resources available to you at both Bruce and Garran campuses to support your research.  This is a hands on session.

By the end of the session, participants will feel confident in:

• being able to locate the LibrarySearch window on the CHS Library & Multimedia website
• knowing how to create and use effective search terms, keywords, and search phrases to find what you are looking for
• knowing what a search filter is and how to use these to tailor your search
• understanding how to use the Advanced Search option
• conducting your own searches
• knowing how to request eBooks, journal articles, and other items that our library does not hold.
